Freestyle Mountain Biking
The Dirt Zone is an intense mix of adrenaline and technique. It features the FMX shows and the Flirt'n with Dirt freestyle mountain bike shows.
The Dirt Zone is presented by Steve Romaniuk. Steve was born and raised in Kelowna, BC, and has become an icon in the mountain bike world. With his long list of movie credits, appearances in the biggest comps, and his very own production company he has helped change the face of the sport.
The Kelowna Cycle Best Trick and Best Line Comps start at 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Spectators can enjoy the action with some ice cold bevies and DJs on the west side of the course. For more info on the riders please check below.
The Flashbacks Lake Jump will feature the freestyle mountain bike boys ripping down a 20ft ramp on Hot Sands Beach and then launching off a 6ft kicker into the Okanagan Lake!
This year Kelowna Yamaha presents the Mini Moto Zone where kids can try out their skills with the Yamaha Riding Academy. |
